Current restrictions
The road between Big Hill (Styx River Forest Way) and Blackbird Flats (west of Bellbrook) is closed to all vehicles, except local residents, their visitors, essential and emergency services.

Use of UHF radios
All authorised users of the road are advised to use UHF radios and to call up other vehicles using UHF call sign channel 17.
When you arrive at a call-up sign, announce your location and direction. If there is any mobile plant on the road, communicate your approach to them and wait for an acknowledgment before proceeding.
Load Limits
There is a 10 tonne weight limit in place.
For loads between 10 and 20 tonnes, please complete a registration form at least 48 hours before travel. You can find the Registration Form on the LOAD LIMIT page. A safety assessment will be complete prior to approval to travel.
Length limits
Due to the condition of the road and the numerous tight corners, vehicles in excess of 12.5m are not permitted to travel within the project boundaries.
